Our Rector, the Very Rev. Harry Parsell, retired on June 30, 2010.  We are now in the process of seeking a new rector.  Those interested in the position can find more information on this web site under Rector Search.  We will be taking names until August 1, 2010.  All applications should be directed to the attention of the Deployment Officer at the Diocesan Office.
In the meantime, all services and  activities continue on our regular schedule.  On Sundays, we continue our summer service schedule with one service of Holy Communion at 9 AM.  We will have a supply priest with us every Sunday, and clergy support will be available throughout this interim period to parishioners facing an emergency situation.
Our search committee is hard at work, seeking a new Rector for Annunciation.  They will be doing interviews in the weeks ahead and checking references.  Our committee will visit final candidates in their home parish and invite the candidates to visit us here at Annunciation.
All of us are missing Father Harry; but if he taught us anything, he taught us that WE are the church.  We will continue to prosper and carry out our various ministries. We look forward to new challenges ahead and a new chapter in the life of this parish that we all love so much.
